What it does

Muse Code is a coding agent that runs in the terminal, launched as a beta on 5 August 2026 and powered by the Muse Spark 1.2 model. A developer types a task; the agent plans the change, writes code, validates the result and can run several background subagents on one task. Bundled skills include /plan, which waits for approval before work continues, /grill, which stress-tests a plan, and /goal, which works toward a set objective. A local event log records every model call, tool run, approval and edit so a run can resume after a crash. Subscriptions start in Contributor mode, where Meta may use your content for training in exchange for more usage; it can be switched off at any time.
