DigitalOcean Managed Agents

Hosted runtime for agent harnesses with sandboxed sessions and a governed tool gateway, in public preview.

Software you sign up for or install and run yourself. Submitted listing, not yet checked. Nothing on this page is sponsored.

What it does

DigitalOcean Managed Agents runs an agent harness such as OpenCode or Codex CLI, or a custom agent packaged as an OCI container, without the team managing infrastructure. Each session runs in its own Firecracker microVM with a filesystem, Chromium and a coding sandbox, and can be paused, resumed and forked. An Action Gateway gives agents governed access to tools through one managed MCP endpoint, with permissions set per agent and human approval for sensitive operations. It is in public preview as of September 2026, billing runtime per second of active CPU, with storage, inference and metered tools charged separately.
